About the Event

Suffolk Growth Programme Board (SGPB) is running a seminar on how we can better integrate art (both in terms of physical pieces and social programmes) into the planning process and build out of new, or re, developments to improve community cohesion.  Local planning teams and their colleagues want to think differently about how we shape our places and strengthen our communities beyond the delivery of new homes and commercial premises.  How can we challenge traditional approaches to incorporating art / providing an open space as a tick box exercise to one that really delivers for our residents?

This seminar will be one in our series that we are running throughout 2020 as training / development / networking events to improve joint working across all teams in delivering our shared Suffolk growth agenda.

The event will be facilitated by Jane Knight (Arts Development Manager, Suffolk County Council).
