We are working with local authorities and key sector organisations to support a strategic focus for the long-term development and sustainable growth of the sector.
The Strategic Development Framework for Suffolk’s Visitor Economy promotes 5 priorities and developing programme areas supported and delivered by a range of local partners.

Reopening the Visitor Economy: Suffolk Growth co-ordinates Suffolk’s Economy, Business and Skills recovery planning and is supporting the visitor economy reopen safely and stay open safely.
SIGIF: The Suffolk Inclusive Growth Investment Fund is a £1.65m fund allocated by Suffolk Public Sector Leaders and the New Anglia Local enterprise Partnership to support local, place based economic recovery across Suffolk.

An environmentally friendly and carbon net zero visitor economy: Suffolk Growth is supporting the development of a coordinated sector approach to achieving our carbon net zero ambition, while supporting sector growth and productivity.
Skills - Visitor Economy Network Initiative (VENI): VENI will bring educators and SMEs closer together and at the same time create opportunities for young people to develop work-ready skills and
participate in, and learn more about, their local visitor economy. Find out more here.
