Suffolk Growth and AccessAble Disability Essentials E-Learning

Suffolk Growth and disability organisation AccessAble have developed an E-learning programme that businesses can access for free.

It is a practical, engaging course that will give people the knowledge and skills to provide a great service to disabled people and carers. Disability impacts 1 in 4 households and disabled people spend £274 billion in the UK each year.

Whether you run a business or just want to learn more about disability awareness, the training will give you the essential information that you need.

The training consists of 5 modules:

  • What is disability
  • Disability equality and the law
  • Types of impairments
  • Providing a good service
  • Language

How to register and access the course

Click the button link below. This link will prompt you to set up an account with AccessAble to be able to complete the course. The course takes about 30 minutes to complete in total.

Please note: Feel free to encourage up to 10 people within your organisation to take the course, but each individual will need to set up a free account with AccessAble (this is very quick to do).
